Territory Press Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Territory Press collects, why, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and how to make a privacy request. It covers our website, checkout, setup form, account page and emails.

Who we are

Territory Press is a fictitious business name of Hansen Sales Inc, a California corporation. 305 Banner Ct, Modesto, CA 95356. hello@territorypress.com.

What we collect from subscribers

• Contact and account details: your name, email, phone, website, and the mailing address you want in your email footer.
• License details: your DRE license number and license type, your responsible broker's name and DRE number, your team name, and your NMLS ID if you choose to give it.
• Brand files and choices: headshot, logo, brand color, letter name, links, and an optional lender partner's name, NMLS number and contact details that you choose to add.
• Email platform connection: which platform you use and, if you choose, an API key. API keys are stored encrypted and never shown again.
• Checkout and consent records: the plan, price and renewal terms you agreed to, the time you checked each box, your IP address and browser type. California's Automatic Renewal Law asks us to be able to prove your consent.
• Billing: Stripe handles payments. We never see or store your full card or bank number. Stripe tells us your billing email, billing address, and whether a payment worked.
• Messages: emails and preview feedback you send us.
• Support form: your name, email, the edition and topic you pick, and your message, plus a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address that we use only to limit how many messages can be sent in an hour. We keep these up to 3 years, like emails with you.

We collect these from you, from Stripe, and from your use of the site.

Contact lists you upload

• If you upload a contact list, we use it only to import into your own email platform for your letter. We process that file only as your service provider. You decide who is on it and you are the sender.
• We do not sell, share, rent or email your list for anyone else, and we do not combine or compare it with any other subscriber's list.
• We delete the uploaded file within 30 days, or sooner if you ask in writing.
• People on your list who contact us about their information will be pointed to you, and we will help you answer.

How we use information

• To make, brand and deliver your letter and previews.
• To run checkout, billing, renewals and cancellations, and to send the confirmation, reminder and notice emails the law requires.
• To keep proof of your renewal consent.
• To answer you, fix problems, and keep the service secure.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting duties.

We do not use your information for targeted advertising, and we do not sell or share personal information as California law defines those terms.

Cookies and checkout

• Our own pages do not set tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not use third-party analytics on them.
• When you check out or manage billing, you are on Stripe's pages. Stripe uses cookies and similar tools there for payments and fraud prevention, under Stripe's own privacy policy.
• Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that help us run Territory Press, under contracts that limit their use:

• Stripe, for payments and the billing portal.
• Cloudflare, for hosting, storage and our database.
• An email delivery provider, for our emails to you.
• Your own email platform, when you connect it, so we can build your issues there.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

How long we keep it

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we have about you, where it came from, why we use it, and who we share it with;
• give you a copy of it;
• delete it;
• correct it.

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information for anything beyond providing the service, so there is nothing to opt out of. We will not treat you differently for using these rights. We honor these requests whether or not the law requires it of a business our size.

How to make a request. Email hello@territorypress.com with the subject "Privacy request", or write to Territory Press, 305 Banner Ct, Modesto, CA 95356. We will confirm within 10 business days and answer within 45 days. To protect you, we verify requests by matching them to the email on your account. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your signed permission. Some records, such as consent proof and billing records, may need to be kept for the periods above even after a deletion request, and we will tell you if so.

Children

The service is for licensed real estate professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Security

We use encryption in transit, encrypt API keys at rest, limit who can see your data, and never ask for your MLS login. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us right away at hello@territorypress.com if you think something is wrong.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email subscribers before the change takes effect and update the date above.
